A three ; year-old boy, Robert Murray Boyd, died at the Prince Alfred •Hospital, from, the effects .of poison.. When the boy reached home he .told his mother, who lives at Richmond/that an unknown man had stopped him and asked him if he wanted.a drink. .--The man then handed the boy.a lemonade bottle. The boy became ill arid was removed to the hospital/A post-mortem examination revealed that the boy's mouth and throat were burned, possibly by spirits of salts.
