MARCONI.

-MARRIAGE ANNULLED

;BT CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION- UOrTMaHT, (AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION

(Received January 21st, 7.10 p.m.) ROME. January 20. The sacred Rota has annulled Senator Marconi's marriage with tho Hon. Beatrice O'Brien on tho ground that the couple agreed before marriage that they could separate whenever they wished. As marriage is regarded as ■indissoluble by the Roman Catholic Church, such a condition makes the marriage null. It is understood that Senator Marconi is engaged to marry Mary, daughter of Count Francesco Bezziscali, of the Papal Guard. ■

[Senator Marconi in 1900 married tho Hon. Beatrice O'Brien', the marriage being annulled in' 1921. In the same year she married the Marquis di Montecorona. She is the daughter of the 14th Baron Inchquin.] '
