Bush tires, tanned by a high wind, are sweeping Lvndoch, Mount • Crawford, and Eden Valley, where the fodder crop is one of ihe heaviest known.
The fire passed within two mile* ot \\ illiamstown, where it was temporarily checked.
The wind then changed and the lire divided into two spits, and tho liaines got out of hand.
At sunset the wind dropped and it is anticipated that the outhreak will he extinguished. Tho damage mials manv iliotis.ii.t! of pounds.
