WHEELS JUMP RAILS.
MISHAP TO EXPRESS. (BT CABLE—TRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIOHT.) (AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Eeeeived January 21st, 9.55 p.m.) ADELAIDE,. January 21. A serious accident to the MelbourneAdelaide express was narrowly averted to-day, when the front.wheels, of the engine left the rails near Mount Lofty. Investigation showed that a large piece of iron had been placed across the line, causing the wheels to jump the rails. No one was injured.
