1928 BAND CONTEST.
APPLICATION FROM CHRISTCHURCH. Citizens and members of the last Ghrisfcchurch Band Contest Committee met yesterday afternoon, when it was decided to make application for the New Zealand Band Contest of 1928 to be held in Chrfetcnurch. The contests are held in the North and South Island in alternate years. This year the contest talus place at. Wellington.
