FORESTERS' LODGE.
—:—» The fortnighflv meeting of the Court Star of Canterbury, No. 2309, A.0.P., was held in tho Foresters' Hall, Oxford terrace. A largo number of members was present, and Bro. F. J. Weakley, P.C.R. presided. A letter was received from the secretary of the U.F.S. Card Association concerning the election of delegates to attend the annual meeting of the Card Association, to be held m the Trades Hall on February 10th.' It was decided that the matter be left over till the next meeting of the Court. Two new candidates were proposed during the evening. Letters were received from Court Queen of the Isles, Lyttelton, and Court Sir George Grey, Wellington, regarding members who ■were desirous of being placed on the medical list of the Conrr. After the usual Court business was' concluded, a rehearsal took place by the Court teams engaged in the Canterbury District ritual competition, and a very instructive time was spent by all the members present.
