WITH FIREARM.
ALLEGED INTIMIDATION. (PSESS ASSOCIATION 'IILEQIUU.) TAUMARUNUI, January 20. At the Police Court to-day John Henry Blane, on a charge, of discharging; a firearm with intent to intimidate and annoy Andrew Russell Aitken and Agnes Aitken at their dwelling-house on January 11th, pleaded not guilty and was. committed to the Supreme Court at Hamilton for trial. _ Sergeant O'Brien, in outlining the case, said that Blane went home to Rangaroa on January 11th m ins motor-ear. He met the Aitkens' two boys, who were oil their way home, and after some talk discharged the firearm twice in their direction. He also threatened Mr and Mrs Aitken and fired a shot which struck their house. Bail was allowed, self in &LW and one surety of £IOO.
