The mystery of the 'death of Mrs Eushton lias deepened. The police have rece ved through the post her handbag, intact, and wrapped in brown paper. There is no clue to the sender. [The English, police are making strenuous efforts enquiring into the fate of Mrs Dorothy Rushton, a young woman whose mutilated body was found on the railway near AVickf ord, Essex. Hhe was married on Boxing Day, and she left her husband affectionately at Catford on January 12th, saying she was going to see a sister at Lewisham, but never arrived. The police were puzzled because the woman's handbag was missing. The train arrived at Wickford with all the carriage doors closed.]
