LITTLE RIVER. The final results of the gala held by the Ladies' Guild of St. Andrew's Church on New Year's Day, for the benefit of the- new church fund, are now to hand. The following are the results of tho various stalls and sideshows :—liefreshment stall, £lO 2s; soft drinks, etc., £2O 0s 6d; variety, £5 17s 2d; work, £l9 Is; Kaituna, £o 45.2 d; bran tub, £5 4s; Mrs Hunter, sale of work, 10s; Walter Tim, sale of fish, £1 15s: sweets stall, £lO 14s sd; produce stall, £9 9s; games, £4-5 loa; donations, £2 10s; total, £136 2s 3d. One 'or two competitions are still to come in and will probably bring the total to £l4O. Over £IOO will be netted after all expenses are paid.
