CRYSTAL PALACE.
Sound acting is not the only c'.ement of success in "Mantrap," the leading feature at the Crystal Palace this week, because the plot of the story is a most exciting one. When a backwoodsman falls in love with a city manicurist and takes her to his camp to live, she is bound to become discontented when a lawyer from the city blows in. That is what the girl who lived at Mantrap did, and she followed him back to civilisation. The leading roles are played by Clara Bow, Ernest Torrence, and Percy Marmont.
The second picture is "Don't," an .amusing American comedy-drama, which has Sally O'Neill, John Patrick, and Bert Roach for its stars. It is dedicated to the American flapper and through the production there runs the irrepressible optimism and certainty of yonth.
