QUESTION OF RATING. At last night's meeting of the Drainago Board the Finance Committee reported as follows: "The committee has considered the question of rating in the £700,000 Loan Security Area, and recommends that a flat rate to provide interest and sinkiug fund on capital cost of headwork should be collected over the area as a whole; and tho area in which-the sewers have been constructed or are to be constructed should bear in addition to the above, interest and sinking fund on the reticulation cost. "The secretary has been instructed to proceed immediately with the work of obtaining the valuations of the above areas." . 'ihe report was adopted.
