GERMAN DISARMAMENT PROPOSALS. (BT CABLE—PBESB ASSOCIATION—COPraiOHT.J (AUSTBALIAN AND N.Z. CABLB ASSOCIATION.) (Received January 18th, 7.20 p.m.) PARIS, January 17. The Inter-Allied Military Committee, under Marshal presidency, decided that Germany's disarmament proposals are not acceptable. A breakdown of : negotiations is not expected, however, as the committee will probably seek . modifications of Germany's offer, partipularly regarding the destruction .of the fortress at Glocau and Fuller, and a guarantee that other fortresses will bo for purely defensive purposes.'
