Extraordinary scenes were witnessed at the opening of the new ice-skating fink at Westminster. There was such a demand for admittance thak people literally swept the building. All doors were closed, but hours afterwards cars and, taxis unloaded eveningc-dressed ikaters until a 'great crowd sembtad outside. o%ials appeared on the balcony and apologised, but a rush was made for a side door* where hundreds crushed through.
