PERSONAL. Mrs A. Hayhurst, "Ashlield." Tcr.uka, returned home yesterday from an extended holiday at Blenheim. The Weather. After the very sultry days at the beginning of the week, the change to rain and a cold wind veering around to all points of the compass met with disfavour. Snow fell in the hack country, for yesterday morning Mt. reel and other mountains showed a good deal or snow, which quickly disappeared under the heat of the sun's rays. Business Men's Association. At the general meeting of the Temuka Business Men's Association on Thursday evening, Messrs H. Simon, 1. Wilson, and W. Coombs were clouted uew members of the Association. Waitea Bebecca Lodge. There was a large attendance at the installation ceremony in connexion with the Waitea Kebetea Lodge, including visitors from Geraldino and liniaru. Bro. H. Clarke, D.D.G.M., was the installing officer, being assisted by omcers of the local lodges. The officers installed were Sister Woodham, i use Grand; Sister K. Luderman, Jsomo Grand; Sister A. Gaby, Vice Grand, Sister M. Scott, recording sccretaiy, Sister N. Wallace, financial secretary, Sister E. Scott, treasurer; Sister J. Young, Chaplain; Sister Davis, lnsirc guard; Sister B. Norton, Warder, supporter to N.G. Sister Anglem, Left supporter to N.G. Sister Pizzcy; Conductor, Mrs Frisby.
