SPORTS AT RANGIORA. On Thursday evening the Rangiora Swimming Club arranged a series of races at the Municipal Baths. Then) was a large number of spectators, but owing to the cold snap the programme was curtailed. The following were the results: — Boys' Race, 25yds—K. Smith 1, J. O'Neill 2, 8. Pentecost 8. Boys' Cttherwood 1, S. Pentecost 2. Men's Race, 50yds (eight competed)— First heat: A. B. 'Ringer (4sec) 1, H. Kinley (ssec) 2, P. Roberts (scr) 3. Second heat: J. Harley (12sec) 1, D. Blake (lOsec) 2. Final: Harley 1, Ringer 2.
