NEW SCHOOL BUILDINGS.

FOR SPREYDON AND OPAWA

. Recently the Spreydon School was destroyed by fire but it appears that 'the occurrence was really a blessing in disguise for within three days of the outbreak an Education grant of £3700 was made for rebuilding. On Thursday the site for the building was pegged off for the foundations, and it is expected that within a fortnight the timber will be on the job, and that in two months the building will be completed. The new building will contain four classrooms. Another work to be started within a few days will be an addition to the Opawa School in brick. The addition will consist of four classrooms and a cloakroom, and will be semi-detached from the older portion of the school buildings. The work is epected to occupy about three months.
