x ADELAIDE, January 13. Nine of the heat-wave victims were inmates of the Old Folks' Biome at Magill, and the other three were patients at the children's hospital.
The temperature for five successive dayß was well over 100. the maximum was reached yesterday —• 103. There has been such an abnormal demand for water that gardeners have been requested not to use water during the day, when factories are drawing supplies.

(Received January 14th, 1 a.m.) ADELAIDE, January 13. Extremely hot weather continues to prevail, the temperature tcday teaching 110. One death is reported, due to sunstroke.
