CITY STREETS.
THE ENGINEER'S REPORT.
HEARING COMPLETION. There is a possibility that there will bo a slight delay in the presentation of the report by the City Engineer, Mr A. R. Galhraith, on the City streets. It will be recalled that, originally, it was anticipated that the report would be ready toward the end of last year, and that, later, the statement was made that the report would be completed in time for presentation at the first meeting of the' City Council this year. "The report is progressing all right, Mr Galbraith said yesterday in reply to a question asked by a representative of The Piiess. Since I started it, however. I hare been asked to include sections dealing with bridges and townplanning in relation to traffic. These two big sections are being prepared at present." Mr Galbraith would not venLure ;i statement as to when the report would be finished, but indicated that no time would be lost in completing it.
