The New South Wales Assembly met again for business, which consisted of answering a host of questions and clearing the way for the reintroduetion of a number of Bills left over from the previous session. These are of purely local interest. Mr Bavin announced that the Opposition would not grant pairs to two Ministers who propose to visit England. This places the Government in a quandary and will probably mean that the visits will be deferred till the recess. APPROPRIATION BILL PASSED. (AUSTRALIAN ACT) K.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Received January 12th, 12.45 a.m.) SYDNEY, January 11. The Legislative Council passed the Appropriation Bill through all its stages.
