MAIL BAGS MISSING.
FIRE ON RfiJIUERA. i [THE 'PRESS Special Service.] WMIINGTQJN, January 11. It is announced br tho Post Office that as the result oi' the fire on tho Eemuera on the voyige from London, 52 bags of mails are not accounted for, 19 being for Wellington, 14 for-Auck-land, 13 for Christohurch, and 6 for Dunedin. , As part of the maij was rebagged on board after the suppression of the outbreak, some of the jmatter in the 52 bags may be included in the portion so dealt with. The bags on board originally totalled 1112. <_>
