RECORDS LOWERED. AUCKLAND CHAMPIONSHIPS. (PRESS ASSOCIATIOH TELIGBAM.) AUCKLAND, January 11. Swimming in the Auckland championships to-night, Miss Gladys Pidgeon lowered the Australian and New Zealand 220 yds ladies breaststroke record from 3min 40sec to 3min 35 3-ssec. The previous record was shared by Misses Pidgeon and Ettio BobcrtsoD, of Sydney. . , In the 100 yds intermediate girls championship, Miss Doris Magee lowered_ by 2-5 sec the Dominion record of 69 l-ssec held by Miss M. Farnuhar. Miss Ena Stocklcy won the 100 yds ladies' event in 68sec, aftir a great race with Miss Farquhar. A. D. Adamson was first iu the 100 yds men's race from J. Enwright and L. Fairgray, dendhcat. Time, 50 2-ssec. A. E. Baird won the 220 yds men's race in 2mSn -lOscc, with ease.
