ASHLEY RIVER TRUST.

ELECTION OF MEMBERS. The triennial election of members of the Ashley River Trust will take place to-day, the sub-divisions in which the polls are necessary owing to more nominations having been received than there are vacancies being Rangiora County and Kowai.

Mr F. Horrell, sitting member, has been re-elected unopposed for the JJangiora Borough sub-division, and Messrs Thos. Dawson, and Henry George Philpott, sitting members, have been reelected unopposed for the Ashley-Oxford subdivisions.

The candidates for the Rangiora County sub-division are Messrs William Stalker, Leonard John Stokes, and John Walker; and for the Kowai subdivision the candidates are Messrs Robert Poach, James Dunlop Wyllie, and Thomas Wyllio.
