A BIG CLAIM.
CHICAGO MURDERERS SUED. (BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION— COPTBIGHT.) (AUSTRALIAN AND N.2. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Received January 9th, 5.5 p.m.) NEW YORK. January 8. At Chicago, Loeb and Leopold, the youthful murderers of Robert Franks, were sued for 100,000 dollars by Charles Reim. a chauffeur, who chargr ed them with criminally mutilating him in 1923 before the murder of Franks. The jury was discharged after deliberating for 25 hours, being unable to arrive at a decision.
