GISBORNE, January 7. Garnet Wolseley McMinn, .charged with the murder of Cecil Thehvall on December 28th, was further remanded to Thursday next. The bail of £SOO was renewed.
[On the evening of December 28th a middle-aged man, Cecil Thehvall, was admitted to the Cook Hospital, Gisborne, suffering from concussion, and died an hour later. The injury was the result of a fall on the footpath outside the Record Reign Hotel. There were conflicting , stories as to how the mishap occurred, and. the police later arrested McMinn ' on * a. charge' of murder.]
