Dr. J. S.. C. Elkington, director of the division of tropical hygiene in the Commonwealth Department of Health, has arrived at Auckland from Sydney. He will attend the forthcoming medical congress in Dunedin.
Bishop Clierringtou will visit Now Plymouth to relieve the Rev. F. G.' Hame, .vicar of St. Mary's, 011 January ,23rd arid 30th. The Bishop's visit will be unofficial. His first official visit Taranaki portion of tho Waikato diocese will be made early noxt month.
