GRAMOPHONE THEFTS.
PARTS AND RECORDS. [THE PREBB Bpaeial Service.] ELLINGTON, January 7. The theft of gramophone parts and records valued at £lO Is from the shop of James Fleming, Newtown, was admitted by an elderiv Henry Alfred Berg, m the Magistrate's Court to-day before Mr ~\V. G. Riddell 6.M. ' Chief-Detect ito Ward said that Berg had a friend in the shop and had been visiting the place frequently. The proprietor of the business was ratl>er absent minded, and Ber q had taken advantage of this to put r:ccrd> and gramophone parts under his coat while the tormor was not looking.
