Mr Storry has been a,member or. the Board for an unbroken. period of •21 years, .and since March 19th, 1912, hns been chairman. For well over 50 years ho lived within a mile of the Kakaia river, and probably no one lias, such a thorough knowledge of conservation work as it affects the Rakaia, of the country along the banks of the stream, the reserves under tho Board's control, or the business of the Board in gie'neral, as he has. H». has always taken a very live interest in River Board affairs, and has given an immense .amount of time . and-., much . thought to the question of protective, works. ■ •
