SAFE MISSING.

BURGLARY AT DAY'S BAY. (PRESS ASSOCIATION TILKGBAM.) WELLINGTON, January 7. An audacious burglary was committed at Eastbourne, when a sai'c was removed from tlic Day's Bay pavilion, which is conducted by Mr George Bird. It is believed the safe contained the day's takings. 'Die lessor does not reside on the premises, and it is thought the intruders took advantage of this and removed the heavy safe under cover of darkness. The police are investigating.
