ANOTHER SHIP COMING. FRANCONIA ARRIVES IN FEBRUARY. 'THE TRESS Special S«nrtrci WELLINGTON. January •.. Ad vice has been received that tho Cunard iiuer Franconia, a sister ship to the L'arinthia. will leave New W>rk on Wednesday next on a trip round the world, made mostly via the Southern Hemisphere. The'Franconia, which is a. 20,000-ton ship, is coming to Wellington via Kingston (■Jamaica), Christol.el, Panama, San Pedro, Honolulu, Apia, Suva, and Auckland, which is an entirely new pleasure route for such ocean tours. The liner is due to arrive m Auckland on February 21st, and at Wellington on February 23rd. The whole of the 410 passengers are to pay a visit to Rotorua, and of that number -105 intend coming through the North Island by way of tho Wanganui river, the largest conducted party to g 0 bv water down the river at one time since the Maori Wars. These people will arrive here a day before the rest, snd will be accommodated at hotels. On the voyage homeward a call will be made at' Australian ports. South Africa, and South V .dean ports.
