RABBIT BOARD.

——♦_— Tho monthly meeting of tho Bar.ks Peninsula Rabbit Board was held recently, when Messrs Nutt (chairman), Feather, Menzies, Gardiner, Gray, and Coop attended. Correspondence having been dealt with, tho members inspected, the proposed alterations to. the fence at Motukarara with additional gates to' further protect the fenced area from tho possible invasion of the rabbit. It was decided to discuss the matter at the next meeting of the Board The-reports oi the inspectors for the month were read and discussed, it being admitted that with the exception of two properties on tlia ninety-mile beach, tho district wan cleaner than last reports. Tho examination of the rabbit fence and flood galea next engaged the attention of tlio Board, the members inspecting the whole length of the fence or; foot.
