LONDON, January 2. The "Weekly Dispatch" states that extraordinary scenes marked tho attempts of the Parisian police to arw;*t Maurice Ramibourd, a dangerous character, who had barricaded himself in his lodgings after *shooting an inoffensive costermonger. The police called on him to surren- 1 der, at which Itombourd partially opened the door and fired twice, then closed the door again. The police decided to use gas, and the street was barricaded. Hugo "- crowds watched the proceedings. As the first wave of gas reached aim, Rambourd shot himself dead. , .- ' '
