Eldridge, driving an eight cylinder two litre Miller car, covered* 60 kilometres in 16min 23sec and 60 miles in 24min B.B7sec, beating Captain Campbell's world's records. Thereafter Eldridge went on to do 100 kilometres in 29min 47.915 ec, beating Segrave's record. Eldridge averaged 132 miles an hour.
