WOMAN PICKPOCKET SUSPECTED [THE PRESS Spsoiil Service.] AUCKLAND, December 30. Pickpockets are in evidence. A male passenger on the Limited express from Wellington one morning this week was relieved of a wallet containing over £2O. He told a railway official that he was seated next to a woman who used a lipstick and powderpuff freely on the run. Not content with that, she had in her bag a bottle of brandy, which she made frequent resort to. Another man stated this morning that he had stolen from him in a city shop a -wallet containing £G. He remembered standing next to a woman whose description tallied with that of the lipstick lady on the Limited.
