SHIPPING NOTES. There will bo very little movement, in shipping, so far as Lyttolton is concerned, until the end of next week. The Storm is to be dispatched on Tuesday for Bluff and Dunedin. The Holmdale is expected about the middle of next week from Timaru to load for Wellington and Wanganui. The Breeze is duo on Thursday next from Timaru, to load for Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. The Kurow is timed to load at LytleUon about Friday next for Auckland. The Kamo should be here on January btli to take in cargo for Napier and Gisborne. Sho sails via Wellington. The Karetu, with cargo from Sydney, is due to-day from Dunedin. The Kairanga, which is taking ticpm of the Whangape, is expected at Lyttclton about January 15th from Sydney, via Bluff and Dunedin. ~„i,„„ The Trevorian should be at lottelton about January 10th from New York, via Auckland, Napier, and Wellington. The steamer Otarama, now loading at Eastern Canadian ports, is to fail at the end of this month for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttolton, Dunedin, Melbourne, and Sydney.

She should load return cargo and sail to-day for Dunedin. The Gale is expected from Oamaru on Wednesday next to load for Wellington and Waniranui. She should leave the same evening for Lyttelton. The Holmdale is also due from the south next Wednesday, to load for W-ellington, Wanganui, and New Plymouth. The Shaw Savill's steamer Athenic is expected to-day from Port Chalmers to load a quantity of frozen meat, wool, and general cargo for the Homeland. The vessel is expected to remain in port over the New Year holidays. The Karetu is listed to reach Tiniaru about January 6th from Lyttelton, to discharge shipment! from Sydney and Newcastle.
