, MELBOURNE, May 12.
The Minister for Markets and Migration states that the shipment of Waltham Cross grapes to New Zealand arrived in good condition. Several cases were used for display in the Dunedin Exhibition. A few cases were dispos<Kl of in the open market to test prices, and the results obtained were very satisfactory. . The export bounties on canned fruits for the present season, have been fixed by the Federal Government as follows :—For apricots 9d per dozen SOoz tins, a decrease of 3d as compared with the previous season; for Clingstone peaches Is. The total, amount involved last season was over £12,000.
