The foreign quarter of Soho was thrilled last evening by a man dashing hatless from a club, blood streaming from a wound in his head. Ho escaped the police, who later found a man dead in the club. They drew a cordon round the vicinity, and detained members of the club, while making investigations. It is believed that the men quarrelled suddenly about a, woman while playing cards and drinking. FRENCHMAN ARRESTED. (Received April 6th, 7.5 p.m.) LONDON, April 6. Detectives boarded a Channel steamer at Newhaven late.at night just before she departed for Dieppe. They detained a Frenchman in connexion with the murder of a comipatriot, Charles Balladder, who was shot dead in a Soho club.
