Three first offenders for drunkenness wet« each convicted and fined ss, in default 21 hours' imprisonment. On » charge of being drunk and disorderly in » public place, Thomas Hector Clements, » labourer, 43 years of age, was convicted and fined £2 »nd coats, in default seven days' imprisonment. DRUNKENNESS AND THEFT.
Lawrence Albert Manning, mechanic, SO years of age, was charged with drunkenness and was convicted and fined ss, in default 48 hours' imprisonment. On a charge of •having stolen a suitcase and contents, valued at £5, he was remanded to appear tomorrow.
