KING MEMORIAL LIBRARY, BURWOOD.

The regular monthly meeting of tho king Memorial Library was attended by the following- members of the committee: Messrs L. B. Bradstoclc (chairman), H. Seynour, H. Rowse, F. Palmer, and Mdsdames King, Tobin, Rogers, Falkenham, Seymour, and Hradstock. Mr R. Button forwarded his resignation as secretary, whicTi was rcceivml with regret, and Mrs Seymour was elected to fill the position. Tho chairman reported the receipt of £8 178 Id Government atibsidy, and it was decided to expend the amount on new books. Messrs F. Palmer and Mesdames King and Seymour were appointed a subcommittee to select and purchase the books. Io was decided to erect a .light out»ido the bnilding. The ladies' committee recoived a hearty vote of thanks for repairing and cataloguing the boks.
