TROUBLE AT NEWCASTLE.

A meeting of tho Newcastle branch of tho Engine Drivers' and Firemen's Federation discussed their grievances, and expressed dissatisfaction at the Bward granted by the Coal Commission. They decided to recommend to two aggregate meetings, to bo held in the coalfields, that fourteen days' notice be given of their intention to strike. The intention was expressed at the meeting that the men were going to attempt to atop all work on the whole coalfields.
A State employees' meeting at the Maitland field carried a similar motion.
