TECHNICAL COLLEGE.

CADET COMPANIES' SPORTS.

Fine weather favoured the Technical College Cadet Companies' sports, which were held yesterday afternoon on the College grounds, Elisor's road, Opawa. The sports were run on a military platoon basis, each College House representing one platoon, and the results were calculated on an average basiß. Mr Garnett's House represented No. 1A Platoon, Mr Nicol's No. 2A, Mr Cartner's No. 3A, Mr Arnott's No. ID, Mr Denny's No. 2D, and Mr Mcßride's No. 3D. Following were the results:— Long Jump—Mr Mcßride's House 1. Mr Nicol's House 2, Mr Cartner's House 3. Three Standing Jumps—Mr Garnett's House 1, Mr Mcßride's House. 2, Mr Nicol's House and Mr Denny's House (equal) 3. Hop, Step, and Jump—Mr Mcßride's House I, Mr Nicol's House 2, Mr Garnett's House, 3. Throwing the Cricket Ball—Mr Cartner's House 1, Mr Nicol's House 2, Mr Mcßride's Hou,se .'!. 400 Yds Flat Race —Mr Denny's House 1, Mr Mcßride's House 2, Mr Nicol's House 3. High Jump—Mr Denny's House 1, Mr Mcßride's House 2, Mr Nicol's House 3. Relay Race—Mr Mcßride's House 1, Mr Arnott's House 2, Mr Garnett's House 3. Ohumpionship—Mr Mcßride's House 1, Mr Nicol's House 2, Mr Garnett's House 3.
