W.E.A. ACTIVITIES.

Thero waa a fairly largo gathering of students and friend* at tho social evening held in the W.E.A. rooms on Saturday night. The programme, which consisted of vocal and elocutionary itema and exhibitions of fancy dancing, was arranged by Mrs A. Edmonds. The music for tho dancing was played by Mr and Mrs Edmonds and Master Edmonds. The foC lowing contributed items:—Mias I. Edmonds, Misses P. and B. Jones, Mr W. Worra.ll, Master Pearce, Miss Miretta Shier, Miss Hazei Shier. Mi»3 Evic Exton. Dancing was interspersed between the various items. The secretary, Mr Geo. Manning, on behalf of the students and their friends, moved a very hearty vote of thanks to Mra A. Edmonds and the various artists for contributing to such an enjoyable evening.
