Irwin Hunt,\ an enthusiastic San Francisco .amateur airman, -needed money so badly to perfect an aeroplane invention that he allegedly stole £IOOO from the office of Eaymond Asedo, his friend. The Chief of Police arrested vHunt, who was released on bail and remained in San Francisco preparing for . the trial. To-day he flew his own aeroplane to Napa, the scene of the trial, arriving an hour before the Court opened. He asked Asedo to take a sky spin with him, but when 1000 feet up the aeroplane collapsed and burst into flames. Both were killed.
