THWARTED ROBBER.
SUICIDE IN BANK. (BY CABLE —PBSSB ASSOCIATION —COPT*IOHT.) (AUSTaAXIAN AND K.Z. CAB US ASSOCIATION) (Received September 6th, 5.5 p.m.) ATHENS. September 5. A well-dressed young man named Moechos entered the office of John Eliasco, the Governor of the Bank of Athens, and handed Eliasco a closed envelope. When the latter was opening it he pointed a revolver at him. Eliasco seized his assailant's arm and the revolver fell. Eliasco ran out and closed the door .and Moschos shot himself dead.
The envelope contained worthless paper.
