SHIPPING NOTES. The Cygnet, . which... has v completed overhaul, is to ■ sail to-night lor Kaikoura, Uotueka, and Nelson. The Opihi loads here to-day for Kelson and. New Plymouth. She sails via 'Wellington. The Opua is expected on Wednesday from the south to load for-Nelson and New Plymonth. The Storm arrived yesterday from Timaru, and i# to sail this afternoon for Wellington and Wanganui. The Calm is now due on Wednesday from Wellington. She is to sail the same day for Bluff, Dunedin, and Timaru. The Breeze is dne on Wednesday from the south. She loads for Wellington and Wanganui. The Wairau is to be dispatched this afternoon with cargo for Blenheim. The Kahika is timed to load here on Wednesday for Napier and Gisborne. Mr E. A. Griffiths, chief engineer: of the' ArahuTa, has signed off the ship's 4 articles, and Mr G. R. Millar has joined the vessel as third engineer. The Union Company's steamer Wairuna in now due at Auckland to-day from Sain Francisco. The Teasel should reach Wellington about the end of next week, and will proceed from there to Melbourne and Sydney. Captain J. L. Brisuo. of the Karori. is 011 holiday leave and' Captain H. J. Doyle is at present in command of the vessel. .The following transfers of masters of C. „<nd D. Line vessels are. announced;— Captain A. C. Hoad, late of the Tort .
