ANNOUNCEMENT EXPECTED SHORTLY. Dean Carrington, when asked yesterday by a. representative of "The Press if there was any information available regarding the new Bishop of Christchurch, replied that he did not expect to hear anything for two or three weeks, although news might come through any day. Dean Oarringtoni was asked about rumours current that tbe selection ot tike new Bishop had been left to his Grace the Archbishop of Canterbury and that the announcement of the successor of Archbishop Julius would be made at the Diocesan Synod which is to assemble next month. "I am as much in the dark as you are," the Dean replied.
