The trial of the Russians, Dosser and his wife, lias been resumed, after three legal arguments, in which Dosser's counsel failed to convince the Court that it had no jurisdiction. The hearing was adjourned till Monday. H.M.A.S. BRISBANE'S COMMISSION. QUESTIONS IN FEDERAL HOUSE. (AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) MELBOURNE, July 4. Mr 'Charlton, Leader of the Labour Party, moved the adjournment of the Federal House, in order to discuss the presence of tho Australian cruiser Brisbane in Chinese waters. After a vigorous protest by Mr Charlton and a reply by Mr Bruce, tho motion was talked out by other members. '>
