THEATRE ROYAL.
MOSCOVITCH SEASON ENDS. The Maurice Moscovilch Company ended their Christchurch season before crowded houses at the Theatre Royal on Saturday. In the afternoon "The Merchant of Venice" was staged, while at night the production was "The Great Lover." In both offerings the company gained a high measure of success, the plays receiving a reception which could not leave in doubt the success of the Christchurch season.
