Sir J. Elder (Australia) ascertained in the course of investigation into tho oil prices that one of the leading companies is prepared to build bulk installations in Australia, using tank steamers and general equipment for the transport of petrol involving a, largo expenditure and much employment of labour.
Investigation shows that petrol is one penny per gallon dearer in Australia than in tho United States, after considering the difference in quality, transportation and duty charges. Sir J. Elder has arranged -with a leading American film company to exhibit Australian pictures in approximately seventy cities and towns in tho United States.
