In Fife House of Bepresontatives Dr. Earlo Pago announced a surplus for tho past financial year of -£4,575,478. Tho receipts for the year amounted to £63,800,178 and expenditure £66,815,853, leaving an excess of receipts over revenue at £1,034,325. This, with the surplus from the previous year, 'made up the total surplus. Almost all the estimates of expected revenue were exceeded.
