(B* CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION —COPTftIOHT.) (AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Received July 3rd, 10.30 p.m.) MELBOURNE, July 3. In Fife House of Bepresontatives Dr. Earlo Pago announced a surplus for tho past financial year of -£4,575,478. Tho receipts for the year amounted to £63,800,178 and expenditure £66,815,853, leaving an excess of receipts over revenue at £1,034,325. This, with the surplus from the previous year, 'made up the total surplus. Almost all the estimates of expected revenue were exceeded.
