BURWOOD ITEMS.

Tho Burwood Soldiers' Memorial Trustees held a meeting recently to consider further tho erection of a filone wall round the reserve. Two tenders -were received lor the work and after considerable discussion, it was decided to approve of one of them subject to a. slight alteration in the height of stone and foundation. Messrs h. Walker and L. Bradstock were appointed a subcommittee- to see the contractor and to report at a future meeting.
